The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities (OBO) has recently become aware of an email circulating among food truck vendors promoting a “Food Truck Fridays – Delicious Eats in December” event allegedly scheduled for Friday, December 18, 2026, at Finlay Park.
Please be advised that this event is not affiliated with or organized by the City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities or Finlay Park. No such event is scheduled to take place at Finlay Park on December 18, 2026. The email appears to originate from an unofficial Gmail account and should not be considered an official City communication.
We strongly encourage vendors to disregard this invitation and not respond to the email, submit applications, or share any sensitive, confidential, or business-related information or documentation with the sender.
Please be aware that official communications from the City of Columbia will come from an email address ending in @columbiasc.gov or through an official City of Columbia affiliated communication platform.
